A careful selection of one-hour seminars running in the morning and afternoon will allow delegates to understand complex areas of specific interest. You will have the opportunity to attend two seminars in total. These sessions will open up into an interactive discussion, giving you the chance to contribute and debate the hot topics of the day. Some of the seminar areas that will be covered are as follows:
Citizens are increasingly using online channels to transact with public services and the implementation of the Government’s digital by default strategy will result in a fundamental shift to online transactional processes. Public sector organisations will need to ensure that users have confidence when using these new services that they can detect and tackle fraud and identify, block, launch countermeasures, perform forensics and shut down attacks without being too cumbersome or time-consuming. The workshop will outline EMC’s credentials in the area of fraud detection and countering cybercrime, how effective detection mechanisms and countermeasures can be put in place, and use case studies to highlight how customers are benefiting from EMC’s experience and capabilities.
Speaker:
Bill McCluggage, Advisor Public Sector – UK & Ireland, EMC
