GovNet's Inaugural Fraud and Error 2012 conference is a must attend event for all those involved in tackling fraud and error, and looking to understand what opportunities, new technologies and new practices are available to reduce costs within the public sector. Where collaborative practice has been highlighted as essential moving forward, this conference provides an excellent opportunity to understand what is being done to tackle fraud, and what priorities are moving forward.
Explore, understand and discuss
As the Government looks to reform many areas of the public sector, and looks to reduce costs overall, ensuring fraud is both prevented and tackled, and ensuring that error is at a minimum will be crucial. Reducing fraud and error will both save costs in the system as it is, but will also be a priority in ensuring measures are currenltly in place as new reforms are implemented – with the Universal Credit, for example.
With responsibilities for fraud an error somewhat uncertain at present, understanding how better collaborative practice can take place will be essential, particularly with the development of the new Integrated Risk and Intelligence Service.
Taking place in the impressive QEII Conference Centre, you'll have the opportunity to network with over 350 of your peers whilst hearing from central Government policy leads and best practice local case studies. This conference is not to be missed.
